Articles of Faith
1. The Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God; it is the authoritative basis for what we believe and how we live. 2 Timothy 3:16,17
2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Matthew 3;16,17; 28:19.
3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His fully human but sinless life, His ministry of reconciliation and forgiveness and His ascension to the Father, John 1:1,14; Romans 5:8-11; Colossians 3:1-13; Luke 1:26-38; Hebrews 4:14,15
4. That for salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, John 3:3-8; 2 Corinthians 5:17
5. In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling Christians are enabled to live godly lives, individually and corporately, 1 Peter 1:15,16; Romans 8:1
6. In the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, who together provide a caring community and a corporate witness to faith in Him, Ephesians 4:13-16.
7. Man is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; no man is justified through the law. Nevertheless, our faith is demonstrated by the love of God shown through the work of this ministry, Galatians 5:4-6; James 2:14-18.
8. In the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ in power and judgment, Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16.
